LA-based stylist sisters Maryam and Marjan Malakpour launched NewbarK in 2009 with the aim of producing chic, comfortable shoes that could be worn 'at home, on set and when traveling'. Newbark has launched its spring/summer 2011 collection, including handbags for the first time. The new handbag collection features leather totes, weekend bags, pouches and small purses, all with the same minimalist aesthetic as the shoes: super-lightweight materials with no unnecessary detailing.
